For those not in the know, times have changed, remarkably. Whatever your views on sexual orientation and behavior, you have to wake up to the fact that things are different, now. Society has become more modern and accepting of sexual behavior that was once viewed as aberrant and abnormal to the extent that practitioners of this were even persecuted. Now America, in keeping with the times, views gay and lesbian practices liberally, and when once upon a time same sex unions were kept in the closet, so to speak, now it has taken several steps forward by legalising them. The California Supreme Court last month made a landmark ruling allowing same sex unions, and 16/6/08 marked the first legal gay marriages in the state. For full report see here.

So true! Times are definitely changing and minds are slowly opening to a broader state.
Who are we to discriminate what is true love or not? But these ladies seem to have spent their whole lives together. Now, they’re finally recognized by the state as a legal entity. 
I say, good for them!
