This is an effort to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records by making the world’s largest pair of denim jeans. It was made by local manufacturers in Peru in 2008. It measured 43 meters by 30 meters and used up all of 3000 meters of denim to make. Weighing in at 7.5 tonnes, it proved too heavy to be lifted up to a standing position by a couple of cranes!
